During this past winter I really didn’t work on my blogs nearly as much as I would have liked, but this last week or so I have been able to get more done. Now that I’ve started writing more posts lately, the next thing on my blogging agenda will be to start promoting my blogs a lot more. I do find that since I’ve stopped promoting them so much I don’t get nearly the amount of visitors that I used to. Well…. all this is going to change. Starting next week I will be posting more and trying to attract more visitors to all my blogs.

The week before last my husband was home for a week on holidays and last week the two kids were home on March break. Needless to say, nothing has gotten done around here during that time. I wasn’t able to get a lot done on the Internet or a lot done in the house during this time. Well, I am happy to report that the family is back where they should be! My husband is at work and the kids are both in school. So I have decided that today I’m going to take a “me” day. I’m going to surf the net to find some adorable birth announcements for my niece, going to get some groceries and then just do whatever I feel like! Tomorrow I will get back on some type of routine, but for today, I’m just going to enjoy the quiet.

My two youngest children were home this week on March break and let me tell you all, this was no fun for me. I’m not kidding, they spent their entire week fighting. So I spent my entire week yapping at them and now I’m in need of a break myself. Thank goodness Monday morning is just around the corner. That means that these two will be back in school and I will have a small amount of peace for a while. I really think I would rather have bariatric surgery than have to put up with another week like I did this past week. But with the weekend here and their father going to be around all weekend, maybe I’ll get a tiny bit of peace after all.

Right now we are in the middle of a nasty snowstorm. So the end of March shouldn’t be too bad. Since the weather is so crappy out there today, I have decided to not do to much of anything. Maybe I’ll just sit on my computer looking up home security systems all day. And… then again, maybe I won’t. I do have lots of housework that needs to be done so maybe it’s a good thing I’ll be stuck inside all day.

Honestly it seemed as though every one that lives in our area decided to come out to eat last night. The door to our restaurant never stopped opening. It was so busy that I actually had to stay an extra hour and a half past my shift to clean everything up. At one point in the evening I even considered buying an oximeter just to make sure I was okay. Thank goodness these types of nights don’t happen every night. It was a really good tip night, but I sure earned every penny of it!

It’s really sunny outside and the temperatures are above the freezing mark. I so love days like this! Maybe all this warm weather may get rid of some of this snow and then it will really feel like a sunny spring day. So… I plan on spending some time outdoors today. Nothing exciting mind you, just to clean out my car. But at least I’ll be out in the nice warm air and maybe, I’ll be able to get out of my winter funk a little bit early this year.
