My computer is only about two years old, but man… is it ever giving me a lot of grief. For the past few days it has been running so slowly that I’m almost ready to pull my hair out of my head. Then this morning while I was trying to do a blog post about an acne treatment guide, the whole unit just crashed. Well, I just forgot about doing the post and unplugged the machine and took out the battery. I let it sit for an hour and then plugged it back in. It’s still running slowly, but as you can see I can post. Hopefully this thing will let me finish all my work on it today and then I will be able to shut it down and give it a rest. I HATE computers sometimes.

Well I must say that I was quite please (although surprised as well) to see that Google decided to give me some of my page rank back. Right now this blog has a page rank of 1 and I couldn’t be happier with it. Who knows how long it will last, but I will enjoy it while I have it. I really don’t know why I got page rank back but I am wondering if it’s because I don’t post about weight loss products quite as much as I did. Oh well, whatever the reason, Google decided to be kind to me. Let’s hope this lasts for a while.

I’ve got to tell you all that I’m really starting to get annoyed with all the spam emails that I have been getting lately. Every time I go to check out my emails I have at least 20 spam emails sitting there waiting for me. Most days I have more spam emails than I do regular ones. The one’s I get most often is about phentermine without a prescription, helping out someone gain access to their trust fund or an invitation to join a work from home company but have to pay hundreds of dollars to sign up. It’s getting a little annoying and I’m really starting to think about getting a new email account. That’s the only thing I can think of to stop this.

Well, I’ve been invited once again to test for a transcription company. I really hope I do well on this test as the last one I took on ecommerce fulfillment I didn’t do very well on. I do have a couple of weeks to do this test so I plan on taking my time and doing the very best possible job. Hopefully I pass and then will be able to continue working as an independent contractor for them. Wish me luck and I will definitely let you all know how I make out.

During the month of October my husband was awarded the safety employee of the month award. This is something new that they are doing with his company and he was the first employee to receive this award. Apparently they look at things like proper use of safety products , and the fact that he’s been employed there for over 11 years with absolutely no accidents. And the best part of this award was the cash bonus he received in his paycheck! So I guess it pays to work safe not only for your health, but for your pocket book as well.

Over the last couple of weeks I have been searching for a reliable and inexpensive online backup service. For the past couple of months my computer has been given me nothing but trouble and I figure that it’s only a matter of time before the stupid thing crashes completely. Before that happens I want to have everything backed up. So that’s why I have been looking for this type of service. As I’m not really knowledgeable in this field, this search is taken me quite a while to do. But I think I’ve found a company to go with. Now if I can come with the extra cash that this is going to cost, I’ll be good to go.

I am almost ready to toss my computer out the window! This computer is running so slowly that I’m really starting to get frustrated. And not only is it running slowly it keeps jamming up and I have to keep restarting it. To try to get any work done on it these days is pretty brutal. I’m almost ready to give up any kind of online life and just check out some orlando vacations. If I’m not here to sit in front of the computer, then it can’t drive me nuts right?? I’m seriously thinking about getting a new one. Now all I have to do is find the money somewhere to either replace the computer or go on an Orlando vacation.

In two weeks time I will be getting a new laptop. This makes me and my children extremely happy. Me for obvious reasons and my children because when I get a new laptop they get to use my old one. The one that I’m currently on right now suits me well, but the memory isn’t that great and it does have a tendency to run quite slow. It’s perfect for the children, but it has been getting a bit annoying for me. But in two weeks time I will have a brand new one. And hopefully I will be happy with this one and be able to keep it for a very long time to come.

With the kids home for the summer my computer time got seriously messed up. Not only was it too difficult to work online with them home (due to their noise), but they were constantly bothering me to do stuff with them that required me to get off my computer. But, I guess that’s what summer vacation is for now isn’t it?? But in less than three weeks they will be back in school and I can get back on my routine. My blogs have seriously suffered this summer but when the kids are in school I can get back on track again. So in less than three weeks I can get back on track and be able to blog and work on the computer whenever I want.

Yes, I really did take a day off from my computer. I had to go with my son on his swimming field trip yesterday and after I got home, I was feeling pretty tired. So, all I did yesterday on the computer was check out my e-mails and then I proceeded to take the rest of the day off. It was actually quite nice for once. I didn’t even think about any deadlines for the work I had to do online. But as you can see (I’m posting aren’t I?) I’m back at it again today. But yesterday was nice and I really think I’m going to start doing this a little more often in the future.
