Monday is a provincial holiday. So that makes it so that we have a long holiday weekend starting tonight. Now this really doesn’t mean very much for my husband and I as he is on call this weekend so he probably will end up working. I’m just hoping that we might be able to squeeze a little fun into the weekend anyway. I do have some plans to take the kids school clothes shopping. There’s a sale on ecco shoes that I really want to take advantage of. And I’m hoping (fingers crossed) that we might be able to squeeze one night of camping in.

We have a long weekend coming up! As you all know, Sunday is Easter so that means we have a holiday weekend coming up. But I think it’s kind of creeping up on me too fast! I have so much to do and I need to get it all done today before the stores close for the holiday weekend. I need to go get some groceries, go to the bank, finish the Easter shopping and if I have time shop around for some auto insurance quotes. Don’t know if this last part will get done, but all the other things really need to. So hopefully I can get this all finished today and then will be able to sit back and enjoy the holiday with the family.

Well with spring arriving tomorrow of course everyone is now thinking about Easter. The kid’s have been going on about Easter (great time for presents) for about a month now. They’ve both asked for new bikes (which they don’t need) but my husband and I have decided not to purchase any new bikes this year. I was thinking about getting my daughter a terry romper and my son some Nascar clothes. We will also find them some chocolate and some toys but we have both agreed not to go overboard this year. Whatever they end up with, I’m sure they’ll both be pleased.

I’m so impressed with myself this week. I have started on my Christmas preparations and have been doing very well with them. The last few days I have been cleaning the house like mad and I was also able to finish all the decorating as well. Earlier today I headed out to the stores and bought some Christmas present so some of that is done as well. I am far from finished, but these little accomplishments makes me feel great and it’s just the motivation I need to keep me going. Who knows, maybe I will have everything done after all.
