Well I have to say that the past few days have been wonderful! We had a great Christmas eve and morning here with the kids. I pretty much got everything I asked my husband for except for any Marc Jacobs handbags or a wireless printer but I was extremely thankful for the gifts that I did receive. I was also able to take a few days off from the blogging world and my online work. So all in all the holidays have been pretty amazing so far. Tomorrow night is new year’s eve so I’m thinking that’s going to be a pretty good night as well.

Wow, I can’t believe that there is only four days left until Christmas. That’s right folks, four days! Thankfully I’ve almost get everything done. All I need to do is to finish up the little things and I will be all set for the big day. I’ve got a bit of baking left to finish up, I’ve got the find the children’s monogrammed christmas stockings and on Friday the kids and I will be making our gingerbread house. Other than that, I think I’m all set. This is the first year that I’ve been this far ahead of the game and let me tell you all it’s a great feeling!

Thank goodness this week is almost over. For the past few days I have had at least one kid home sick from school. My son was home due to a seriously bad cough and my daughter has been home now for two days due to her throwing up. I can’t wait until all this sickness is behind me. I have spent a fortune on medicine and haven’t been able to get a whole lot of work done either. I was able to order some humidors online for my father in law and was able to do a bit of housework, but that’s been about it. Oh well at least they are both getting over this before Christmas and hopefully they will have a sick free Christmas break.

My daughter has to get her second of three Gardasil needles today and to tell you all that she is not looking forward to it would be a huge understatement. She did go to school this morning even knowing that she had to get this needle which really surprised me. But once she has this one she only has one more to go. She realizes that she needs to have these needles so she’s trying her best to be a trooper about it but I do feel bad for her.

I have learned over the years that it’s just easier for me to do my own women’s apparel shopping. I love my husband to death, but he really doesn’t have a clue on what type of clothes I like. He normally purchases me stuff that really does look good, but is not very functional. I dress for warmth. So later this afternoon I’m going to store and will purchase myself a few items that I know I will wear and will fit. So Merry Christmas to me. he,he.

Now that I’ve got quite a bit of jewelry made up I have decided that it’s probably time that I set up a website to display my items. I have been looking for some affordable managed hosting and I have thought of a name for this site. And… that’s about as far as I’ve gotten. With work, home, kids and family keeping me so busy these days I really haven’t had a whole lot of time to dig into this further. But after the holidays I plan on kicking things into gear and getting this brand new website up and running.

My daughter has her first school dance of the year tonight and she is quite looking forward to it. My husband and I really aren’t (she’s just a little girl, lol). But we’ve got to start letting her do stuff. So he will be driving her and picking her up tonight. Where does the time go? Next thing you know, she’ll be getting ready for her final dance in middle school and then it will be off to high school dances. Yikes!

I honestly can’t believe that Christmas is only three weeks away. I still have so much to do and so little time to do it all in. Not only do I have a lot of Christmas preparation to finish, but I also have to find the perfect document management solutions for my home based company as well as getting a lot of work finished up online. I was hoping to be able to relax a little bit before the big day, but with everything that still needs to be done, I honestly can’t see that happening.

All I want for Christmas is more hours in the day. Do you think that I’ll get it?

So has anyone here found any weight loss pills that work? For months now my husband has been trying to lose some weight and seriously he’s not doing very well at it. He’s starting to get discouraged and I think he might give up trying. I really don’t want him to do this. He needs to lose the weight for health reasons so I am on a mission to try to find him something that will work.

So if you have any suggestions I would dearly love to hear them. My husband and I will both be quite thankful.
