For Christmas my son and daughter got a couple of gift cards, so last night my husband took them to our Wal-Mart so they could spend their money. As soon as they got there, of course my son headed right for the wii accessories and my daughter headed for the DS games. Both of these kids love their video games and as soon as they have a little extra cash, they always want to spend their money on these games. Oh well, with new games to play my weekend should be pretty quite around here. As long as their playing their new games, they night fighting.

I was scheduled to have a dental appointment today, but had to cancel it. Both the kids are home from school today due to the weather so I am unable to go. Now this probably doesn’t seem like a big deal to you all, but I am absolutely terrified of going to the dentist so for me to make an appointment and actually plan on going really means that I’m in a lot of pain. I really couldn’t tell you what the basis of my fear is, but it really doesn’t matter if it’s a Plano dentist or a local one, I really don’t want to see them. So now, because of the weather, I’m going to have to reschedule and once again spend a month of talking myself into going. I really do hate it when I have to change my plans.

It’s going to be a bitterly cold weekend this weekend. I really need to dig out my turtlenecks and my heated blanket. Tomorrow they are calling for temperatures in the minus 27 range and let me tell you all that I am not looking forward to that. I absolutely despise winter (I think I’ve mentioned this many, many times), but if I have to take snow or cold, I will take snow any day. Hopefully this cold freeze doesn’t last too long. Man…. I can’t wait for spring!!

Later on today I will be dyeing my hair once again. I am only 41 years old, but without the dye jobs, I look about 50. Without the added color in my hair, I am completely white! Completely! I have to dye my hair about every six weeks and I get so tired of it. So I normally put it off as long as possible and then it’s so bad that I have no choice but to dye it. So later on today I will be looking 41 again. Who knows maybe I’ll dig out the wrinkle lotion and look even younger than 41. lol

Of all the days not to cancel school due to snow, today should have been cancelled. It has been snowing steadily since last night and we are predicted to get up to 15 cm of snow before this is supposed to stop. But the kids went to school. Honestly if this snow keeps up I really do think they might cancel school during the day and send the kids home early. I really don’t understand this district. On a day that it “might” snow they cancel school, but on a day like today, school is in session.

For the past couple of years my husband has been having trouble with his weight. He has gained quite a bit and has been trying to take the extra off. Well last night he came home with what he thinks is the best weight loss drink available these days on the market. So he’s going to give this a try. He has tried pills and different types of diets with limited success. So he has decided to try something different. I don’t know if this approach will work for him, but hey, it won’t hurt right. I’ll let you all know how he makes out.

Well I must say that I was quite please (although surprised as well) to see that Google decided to give me some of my page rank back. Right now this blog has a page rank of 1 and I couldn’t be happier with it. Who knows how long it will last, but I will enjoy it while I have it. I really don’t know why I got page rank back but I am wondering if it’s because I don’t post about weight loss products quite as much as I did. Oh well, whatever the reason, Google decided to be kind to me. Let’s hope this lasts for a while.

Lately I’ve been very frustrated with my outside job. I work every weekend and am seriously getting tired of this schedule. I don’t know if this is a permanent thing or not so I have decided to take a few days off to see how I feel about working. I have taken tomorrow night off and I booked a weekend off at the end of the month. Hopefully this will cure my frustration and I will once again be happy with my employment. If not, then maybe I should find more work writing articles from home on effective weight loss pills and just be happy with the little bit of income I can earn from home. I’ve always said that once I started not having fun at my job anymore it was time for me to leave. So… maybe it’s time for me to leave??? Time will tell I guess.
