Well it’s been a few days since I sent my test in for the transcription job that I’m applying for, and I’m still waiting to hear how I’ve done. I really do hate waiting. When I have to wait a real long time, I start to second guess myself and start to wonder if the reason why I haven’t heard back is because I didn’t do very well. Oh well, while I’ve been waiting I’ve been doing some practice transcription. I am getting faster so I think maybe the next test I take I will do better maybe?? The test transcription that I have been doing has a lot of terms like Dutch Master and similar things so it’s pretty easy work. Hopefully I’ll hear back from this other company soon and I can start making some money instead of just practising.

So finally after four days of having this test home I was able to complete it and send it in. It was a pretty simple test and mainly centered around pond pumps, but it still took me quite a while to finish as I had so much other things to do as well. I’m slowly getting things ready for Christmas and have two kids home now, so taking a test that requires absolute silence was a bit challenging. But, I was able to finally get it done. Now I will sit on pins and needles until I hear a reply back on how I did. I’ll be sure to let you all know how this turns out.

Well, I’ve been invited once again to test for a transcription company. I really hope I do well on this test as the last one I took on ecommerce fulfillment I didn’t do very well on. I do have a couple of weeks to do this test so I plan on taking my time and doing the very best possible job. Hopefully I pass and then will be able to continue working as an independent contractor for them. Wish me luck and I will definitely let you all know how I make out.

I think in the new year I’m going to cut back on the amount of blogging that I have been doing. I have been blogging for three years now and I think now that it’s starting to take it’s toll. Oh don’t worry I still pop in here every once and awhile and tell you all about my life with my family or tell you all about the great deals I’ve found like in Cole Haan shoes. I just won’t be spending quite so much time at this. I have other things on the go and I have found that I am really running out of time in the days to complete them all. So I have to prioritize and see if I can’t manage my time a little bit better. Maybe after I get this all figured out, then I may increase the blogging once again.

Yesterday the weatherman was predicting that we were going to end up with a pretty serious snowstorm. The entire area was on high alert but we didn’t get anything close to what they were calling for. I guess I don’t have to check out any panama city beach condo rentals after all now do I?? If it sounds like I’m complaining, no, I’m certainly not!! I know we will eventually get all the snow and ice that we were supposed to get yesterday, but I’m just happy that it hasn’t come yet.

Well late last week I was able to finally complete my home office/craft room. I sorted through all my stash and have decided to get back into my crafting once again. One of the reasons why I haven’t been doing a lot of crafting is because I never had anywhere to put my supplies. It would take me a while to dig out everything and then I would craft for a while and then have to put everything away again. But I don’t have to do that anymore. Now that I have my room I can take out my supplies and leave them out until I’m done working with them. So I really think this will give me more motivation to get things done. If I don’t have to spend all my time taking out supplies and putting them away, I may possibly work on them more often.

The snow has come a little later this year. We just had our first snowfall of the season over the weekend. So for the past couple of days my husband and son have been slowly digging us out of this mess. If this keeps up neither one of them will have to invest in the best weight loss pills on the market these days, all they will need to do is continue to exercise. We have been seriously lucky this year compared to other years. So I’m definitely not complaining (especially since I’m not the one shoveling).
