Well my husband’s first day back to work after his vacation was quite different to say the least. He spent the entire day helping his boss move. I know at one point he was really wishing that his boss had hired some cross country moving companies to help him with this move. Yes, he did get paid for the day, but I’m really sure my husband would have rather been doing his regular work than helping his boss move. But they were able to get it all done yesterday, so I guess this part of his job is finished. At least until the next time his boss decides to move.

Well it’s a new week, but with the same crappy weather. Last week it rained almost every day. We were unable to do much of anything due to the heavy rains even though it was the week that we were both on vacation. I guess we should have looked into Orlando vacations instead of planning to take the kids camping. But it’s a new week and hopefully later on this week I’ll be able to do something fun with them. But the weatherman is telling me that we are going to get rain for at least the next three days. So I guess we will have to wait and see what later in the week brings.

My husband and I were both on holidays this week. And even though we weren’t able to get any camping done, it still turned out to be a pretty expensive week. He had to take his car in for inspection and it failed. So he had to purchase quite a few parts and had to spend the entire day yesterday putting them on. So even though we didn’t spend a lot of money camping and having fun, we did end up spending a lot of money on car parts. He is now back at the mechanic’s shop trying to see if his car passes. If it does, hopefully we will then be able to go out and do something fun. If not, I guess it looks like we will not be doing much of anything.

My husband and I were able to both get the same week off for our vacations. We had plans of taking the kids camping, but the weatherman has decided not to work with us on that one. It has been raining steady for the past three days and the long range forecast doesn’t look much better. So if we do in fact get rained out, we are really going to have to find something else to do. Hopefully towards the end of the week we will be able to get some camping done, but if not I’m sure we’ll be able to find something else fun for the kids to do.

Well it’s that time of year again. It’s the time of year when a lot of people start handing out invitations for different events. So the invitation companies are working really hard at getting a piece of this business. Lately I have seen a lot of commercial for Oktoberfest Invitations. I really hadn’t thought that Oktoberfest would be an event that invitations would be given out for. But after seeing so many advertisements for Oktoberfest Party Invitations I’m really starting to think that this event is a huge event for some people. The amount of invitations Oktoberfest that a person has to choose from is pretty large. And the look and style of these party Oktoberfest invitations are pretty cool too. See… I can learn something new every day.

Tomorrow is the final day of school for the children this year. My daughter has pretty much cleared everything out of her desk and has brought everything home. My son, on the other hand, has put all this work off. So today is the day that he will end up bringing everything home. That’s quite a bit of stuff for a little boy. I have been after him for the past week to bring stuff home, but he left it all to the last minute. So he’s going to be carrying a pretty heavy load when he gets off the bus today. Maybe this will teach him not to leave things to the last minute. I doubt it. But a mother can always hope now can’t she?!

Well if your looking for that perfect gift for any man in your life, then I’ve got the perfect gift for you. You could always purchase them Spring Airsoft Guns. These Spring Airsoft Guns are perfect for the young as well as the young at heart. My youngest son would love a spring airsoft gun of his own to be able to go out and enjoy a fun little sport with his father. My husband has his own gun airsoft spring and has a blast with it every time he goes out with it. So for all the men in your life, seriously think about picking up some spring air soft guns and watch their faces light up.

When you first learn that you will be adding to your family, there really is no better feeling on this earth. I would know, I’ve done this three times. And what better way of informing family and friends of the blessed event than by handing out Photo Birth Announcements. Not only are these Birth Photo Announcements an excellent way to announce your baby’s arrival, but they are also an awesome way of keeping the memory of that feeling alive for years to come. After I gave birth to all my children, I made sure that I placed photo birth announcement in our local paper for each and everyone of them. And even though my oldest son is now 20, I still have his baby photo birth announcement in his scrapbook. And when he gets older I will then give him his photo baby announcements to save to show his own children.

Yesterday my husband received a very disturbing piece of mail. It was from our tax office. The letter informed us that if we don’t pay our taxes on our mobile home, our home is going to go up for tax sale. Not good! In February we received the letter telling us how much we owed for taxes this year and we kind of forgot about it. Well yesterday’s letter kind of reminded us of something very important that we forgot to do. So later this morning I will be headed to the bank to take care of this little problem. And then we will be all right until next year.

Well the kids are once again on their final stretch of school time. This time next week they will be out of school for the entire summer. So that means I have a lot of work I need to get done before this happens. It’s just to difficult trying to get things done with two little people underfoot. I have to make some calls to see if I can find a reasonable no exam life insurance quote, I need to go out and get an entire grocery order, and need to get some banking done. I really don’t like to do this kind of stuff when the kids are home as it normally takes me twice as long to get anything accomplished with them around. Time is winding down, so I really do need to get cracking.
