The other night a friend of mine needed a drive home from work. And because she just works down the street from me and lives next door to me, I offered to pick her up after I was done work. Well I probably shouldn’t have done that. I got lost. Yes, I did. It was really dark and rainy out and I missed her building and ending up driving all the way down the street. When I got to my husband’s bank I realized I made a huge boo-boo and had to turn around and head back. I did find the place eventually, but a five minute drive ended up being about 20. So, I have decided that I either need to invest in a Garmin GPS system or stop offering to pick people up and drive them home.

  2. LOL! Sorry I have to laugh. Not at you but at myself. It happened to me so many times. A drive that needed 30 minutes, it took me 2 hours. Yes, you heard me right … 2 hours. :)

  3. I have been put off buying a Sat Nav system as recently I was hit by a car travelling on the wrong side of the road. Turned out the driver was more intent on playing with his Sat Nav than watching the road ahead! I am sure with the correct usage one of these would be beneficial to you though.
