Getting excited about Halloween
Every morning my daughter wakes up and then informs me how many more days until Halloween. She is now 10 and I would have thought that she wouldn’t be as excited about this event as in past years, but she is as excited if not more excited than in previous years. My 8 year old son doesn’t seem to be as excited as her.
Last night she was going on and on about Halloween and my son wasn’t joining in the conversation. So I asked him what type of costume he would like and he informed me that he didn’t know if he wanted to go out this year. When I asked him why, he then stated because his old Superman costume doesn’t fit him any longer. When I explained to him we could buy another one he was then excited to go out for Halloween. Well the countdown is on and there is only 12 more sleeps to go!

I haven’t got Aidan’s costume yet. He wants to be Patrick off of Sponge Bob Squarepants.
I have an 11 year old daughter who I am sure is excited about Halloween but oddly she hasn’t really talked much about it. I think once we buy the costume she’ll probably never stop.
My younger girls are very anxious already. My 8 year old asked if she could be Bo Peep and dress my 10 month old up as her sheep. lol

My daughter is 12 and still LOVES Halloween! She’s a bit disappointed this year because she has a softball tournament ON Halloween! Who in their right mind schedules and bunch of kids to play ball on Halloween?!
