Seriously folks I have always hated the winter weather. I really should have been born in Florida. If it were up to me I would live in a place where winter never happens. But unfortunately that isn’t the case. Normally we get some pretty brutal winters here. We get really cold temperatures which cause me to purchase a lot of the best acne treatments I can find if you know what I mean. We get a lot of snow which makes me shovel a lot and most of our days are dreary and gloomy. Even though I have to put up with the blustery cold weather now, you can bet that when my husband and I both retire, I will be vacationing in Florida during these harsh months.

Well we are suppose to be in for a nasty one again this weekend.  The weatherman is calling for huge amounts of rain and high winds.  The rains are predicted to be so bad that everyone is running out to the grocery stores and gas stations to stock up.  They are predicting a lot of flooding so know one really knows how long it will be before they can make any kind of purchases like these again.

So far today we have seen a lot of rain but no winds yet.  So hopefully the majority of the storm will pass us.  It’s quite amazing that in an area where we never get storms like this, this will be our second in less than a month.  Hopefully we won’t get too bad of weather as I do have to go to work a little later on today.
