Not a good week for camping

My husband has been home on holidays for this past week and I’ve got to tell you that this has been the worst week weather wise that we have had a summer. It has been rainy, cloudy and cold all week. We have seen a little bit of sunshine, but not much. And the nights are extremely cold with frost on the cars when we wake up in the morning. So our plans to go camping all week have not worked out too well.

But I’m going to let you all in a little secret. I really don’t mind. After all the unbearable heat that we had to suffer through the month of July, this little break from the hot, humid, sticky weather. So although we didn’t get to go camping this past week, this vacation actually has been pretty good as we are not all dyeing from the heat. And today is only Thursday so maybe we will get a little camping in over the weekend.
