Babysitting
To add to our household income, my husband has suggested that I might look into babysitting other people’s children. This probably wouldn’t work out very well. And, I’m going to tell you why. Yes, I really do love kids but I really don’t have the patience for them. I think I do pretty good just looking after my own. Then you have the problems of disciplining other people’s kids. Because they are not my own, I really don’t like telling other people’s children not to do things or my methods of discipline might vary from their own. And my last problem is, is that if I am watching other people’s babies, I would probably spend most of my pay on purchasing unique baby gifts for these kids. So I guess babysitting isn’t in the cards for me. I’ll just have to find something else to bring in that extra cash.

Ditto to everything you just said! I have worked hard to have patience and calm to deal with my own child, it would probably push me over the edge if I were watching other people’s children!
I wouldn’t want to either, that just seems to be something that someone in middle school or high school should be doing.

Are you sure you don’t wanna watch Sharla’s kids? LOL
I did the babysitting thing and it was more grief than gain. I did not have the patience for other people’s children and there was far too much difficulty involved it getting decent clients.
Not worth it really.
