Back to school shopping

I realize that it’s only the first of July so the kids have quite a while before they will be going back to school. But with two kids to purchase supplies and clothes for this can be a very costly adventure. So I try to do a little bit of shopping each week during the summer to make sure we get everything they need without paying a fortune for it. Although the back to school sales haven’t started yet, one of the stores is having a huge sale this weekend on clothes so it’s a perfect time for me to make some purchases. I have to make these purchases whether their on sale or full price. So if I can save some money in the process then so be it. That’s the great thing about clothes shopping, the clothes will not go bad even if they sit in the dresser drawers for the summer.

I bought Aurora 4 shirts for school today. The sales at Lazer and Superstore are great!!!

Shopping for school supplies every week is a great idea. I might have to try that. It is hard to come up with all the money at once to get supplies. The only problem is that the schools don’t usually have their supply list until mid July or August. Maybe I can contact my daughter’s school and ask for a list in advance. Thank you for sharing that tip!
