How’s your mother’s day going??
So far so good. My husband and kids let me sleep in this morning which was a really great present all in itself. Then after I got up I was handed my first cup of coffee of the morning from my favorite coffee shop. Then my daughter made me burnt toast and eggs (but it was the thought that counted). Then the kids gave me their presents and cards. My husband already gave me his present yesterday. He took me out to dinner. And now they have been little angels. So as far as mother’s days go I have to say that this has been one of the best! How is your day going so far?
Well, my 5 1/2 month old daughter screamed at me for an hour and a half last night around 2:30 am, my 4 1/2 year old son woke up in a nasty mood and was ranting at me about not wanted to eat the breakfast left over from last week (it was from yesterday). He was also complaining that his pants were wet but yet refused to change them.
Otherwise it is like every other day, although they are taking me out to dinner tonight.
Is it wrong to want to be ALONE on Mother’s Day? Maybe I could suggest they let me to dinner alone? That might be rude…

Today is actually pretty nice. I was able to sleep in too which was nice. My four troublemakers are actually trying to behave today. They gave me their wonderful gifts and I have not had to lift a finger today except to type! So I guess I am having a Great Mother’s Day!!
