One more week

Wow I can’t believe there is only one more week until the camping season officially opens. Yes, it’s still a little cold here at night time for camping, but as long as you have a good heater and a camper, you really should make out OK. The weekend of May 19 is a long weekend around here with the kids being home from school Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, so we are planning on taking our first camping trip that weekend. So because it’s only a couple of weeks away, I have to start digging out all our camping supplies, sleeping bags and curtains. The end of the season last year I took everything out, washed it all up and put it all away. So the start of this season all I need to do is dig out the stuff and put it in the trailer. I can’t wait.

It’s still too cold for camping for us. We wait until the first week of July before we go camping.

I’m not much of a camper unless it involves a bed and indoor plumbing! I’ve always been intrigued by it, just too scared to do it.
