Spring activities

Published by User ImageKim at 1:29 pm under health, life

Now that spring has sprung and the birds are singing, it’s time for me to start thinking about getting in shape. The winter months are usually the months where most people tend to slack off in the getting shape department. But when spring arrives is seems like most people start thinking about joining gyms, taking supplements like hoodia, and eating healthier. I know this is the time of year when my thoughts head in this general direction. So for the next couple of weeks I plan on getting my spring work out routine ironed out and then will put all my plans into action.

I’m trying to get myself on a schedule to do at least 30 minutes of my Yoga dvd each day. I’ve been slack on it, but I’m always slack until it warms up for good. If the weather would make up it’s mind it sure would help! Anywho, I’m hoping to learn at least 30 minutes of the routine so I can take my mat outside on the back patio each morning. How calming would that be!?

I’ve never been one for gyms because it’s a waste of money for me. If I buy a membership I’ll never use it, but there is a new gym in town I’m thinking about trying out. It’s ran by a guy I went to hs with, and instead of charging monthly memberships he charges a set fee of like $5 a day for those of us who wouldn’t hit up the gym that often.

Dang you Kim! Now you’ve got me thinking about the extra lbs I’ve put on being lazy this winter! :Þ
