I feel like a little kid

On the weekend my husband and I purchased a new couch and yesterday it was delivered. Yay! But, there is only one problem, I don’t remember it being so big in the store. I’m pretty sure that when we looked at it, the feet of the couch was not on it. I would have remembered the fact that I can’t touch the floor when sitting on it! It is extremely high and when I sit down on it my feet are dangling just like a little kid!

Last night while I was sitting on it, my husband was laughing his head of at me. Here I am, almost 40, and can’t sit properly on my own couch. He is actually going back in the store today to talk to the salesman about this “minor” problem. But, it’s not a real big deal as I do love the couch, it just swallows me whole.

Oh well, maybe when I do finally grow up, I will fit in quite nicely with my couch.

I have mixed feelings about couches that “swallow” me up and leave my feet dangling. I like them because I can curl my feet up on the couch and kinda lounge there. I don’t like them because they are harder to get out of….especially when pregnant.
