Now I know some of you are going to ask me “What in the world is Entercard”. Well, I’m going to tell you. Entrecard is a social marketing program that I have become involved with. A couple of weeks ago I asked some fellow bloggers what types of social bookmarking sites they use to generate some extra traffic to their blogs. One program that was suggested to me was Entrecard and man, I’m sure glad it was. This program is really easy to become involved in and really easy to participate in. If you notice I have a widget on my site that tells you to “drop yours”, well, that’s all you need to do.

Sign up with this site, create your own card and then start visiting other sites and drop your cards. This in turn will help you to gain credits that can later be turned in to purchase advertising on other’s sites. So not only do you get your site known by dropping cards, but you also get it known by advertising your sites on other people’s blogs.

I have been so thrilled with the results that I have seen from this program, that I now have three blogs in their system. Yes, it does take a little work as you need to go around visiting other blogs to drop your own card. But trust me when I tell you this, It’s completely worth the time you put into it!! Not only have I seen an increase in my traffic levels, but I have made a few blogging friends, and have found a lot of interesting blogs to read that I wouldn’t have known about.

So, if your not a member of Entercard, what are you waiting for?? Going on in, sign up and start dropping!

As most of you know, I just recently started to make some homemade jewelry. I have made quite a few pieces and have to say that they look pretty good. But these pieces are just very basic and I would really like to try my hand at making little more advanced pieces. I would love to be able to create beautiful religious jewelry. I have seen so many beautiful pictures of this type of jewelry and I would love to be able to create some of this myself. I’m sure that after a little more practice, I should be able to create some of this type of jewelry and hopefully get it looking like some of the jewelry that I have seen in magazines and on the Internet.

I think that wine of the month clubs are awesome clubs to belong to if you are any kind of a wine drinker. Once you have enrolled in one of these clubs, you then have the opportunity to taste and try out different types and brands of wines each and every month. Every month a different bottle of wine will be delivered right to your doorstep for you to try. The great thing about these types of clubs, is that the diversity of the wines are so great that you get to experience several different tastes throughout the year. By not belonging to one of these clubs, you probably wouldn’t end up trying most of these products. Even though I’m not a wine drinker myself, a program like this is an awesome idea for anyone who is.

The other day my husband went to look into our bedroom closet for something.  He then came out of the bedroom shaking his head.  He then stated that I am the worst pack rat that he has ever seen and he can’t find a thing that he is looking for because of all my “junk”.  But guess what, all my “junk” is stuff I need or want to save.  I really don’t have that much stuff.  Just a lot of crafting supplies, tons and tons of books and everything that the kids have ever made in their lifetime (so I guess 18 years of stuff). lol

So yeah, I guess you could call me a pack rat.  But everything I have I need or will need in the future.  Honest!!  How about you guys?  Who’s the pack rat in your home?  You or your significant other?
