Cleaning up the big mess

Published by User ImageKim at 12:44 pm under home, kids

Christmas is one of my very favorite times of the year, but it sure is the holiday that requires the most work.  First a person spends a few months before Christmas getting ready for the big day.  Then on the big day they spend their day cleaning and cooking and then for days after Christmas they spend most of their time picking up the huge mess that the kids continuously make.  Well this is my life anyway.   So, with it being December 27 you can all guess what I will be doing today.  Yup, cleaning up mess after mess after mess.

After becoming an adult and having children of my own, I now get the privilege of cleaning instead of playing.  Oh, to be a kid again!  Just for one day and you can all guess what that one day would be. lol  But, it was and is all worth it to see the excitement on the kids faces, to watch them play with all their new toys that they got, and the best part is they haven’t fought at all for the past three days.

So, I guess the mess IS really worth it all!
