My oldest son has decided to go back to school to further his education, and I couldn’t be prouder of him. I seriously think that this is a step in the right direction, and because of his past problems in life, I think this will be extremely good for him. I did get a little nervous when he started talking about looking into getting Credit Cards For Students. But, because he is now trying to turn his life around, I have decided to help him in this process.
I have found a site over at creditcardsearchengine.com where he will be able to obtain all the correct and up to date information he needs concerning any type of credit cards. What this search engine has done is they have done all the research and comparisons for you on all major credit cards. They will help you find out which type of information like interest rates, repayment schedules and any rewards that come with each and every card. Armed with this information from this site, you would then be able to make a decision concerning which type of card is best for you.

This is unbelievable!! I woke up this morning and looked out the window only too see a massive amount of snow already fallen and still falling. We just cleaned up the yard from the last snow storm we had and now we are being hit again. Normally I wouldn’t care as the kids are not in school and I don’t work anymore so I really don’t need to be out in it. But, having it snow for the past four days strait, I am getting a little house bound here. I usually don’t travel very far, but just to be able to go for a drive and a coffee would be nice. If the weather keeps up like this, I’m never going to get out of the house again until Spring!! Oh, what a way to ring in the New Year!!

One of my friends that I helped getting started on blogging has been enjoying herself so much that she started another blog. When I first started blogging, I used to tell her about how much fun and enjoyment I was getting out of blogging that she finally decided to take the plunge and start a blog of her own. Well it wasn’t too long before the blogging bug hit her and she was totally addicted to blogging. So along with the first blog that she started she has started another one over at Jabber Jaws.
I invite you all to pop on over to her newest site to see what all the “Jabbering is all about” and be sure to tell her that Kim sent ya!

When I was trying to think about a good gift to give my father in law this year I never really thought about giving him some type of gift that could eventually earn him a little bit of money in the future. It wasn’t until I was surfing the Internet and discovered a site over at monex.com when this idea suddenly came to me.
Over at this site, you can purchase silver bars, gold bars or precious metals for a future investment. If I had of been thinking, this would have been a perfect gift to give to him. This company has been in business for over 30 years and are the industry leaders in their field. Not only do they supply the best medals products in the industry, but their prices for these precious metals are also the very best in the industry as well. So, I have decided that I am definitely going to look into this type of purchase as a gift for him for his upcoming birthday.

This really irritates me. No not really, but if I had of known which presents would have been the favorite in my house this year I could have saved myself a lot of money this past Christmas. Out of all the expensive presents that we and Santa brought the children, the one present that they have been playing with the most has been their construction paper, markers and glue. Although my son has played with the PlayStation 3 quite a bit, my daughter has spent most of her time playing with crafts. If I had of known that these items would have been the items that she only wants to play with, I would have saved some money and purchased her more craft items instead of some of the other toys. Oh well at least they are past the stage of playing with boxes!

I honestly don’t get the fascination with street racing. Maybe this is because I’m a girl?? I watch these types of shows on TV with my husband and I still can’t understand why a person would invest so much money into their cars and car spoilers just to drive them down the road at a fast rate of speed for some type of thrill. It scares me to death to watch these races and I hope and pray every day that my two sons will have no interest in this type of sport. It looks dangerous and it costs quite a bit of money to participate. My oldest son has no interest in this type of sport, so I am just keeping my fingers crossed that my youngest son will not either.

Christmas is one of my very favorite times of the year, but it sure is the holiday that requires the most work. First a person spends a few months before Christmas getting ready for the big day. Then on the big day they spend their day cleaning and cooking and then for days after Christmas they spend most of their time picking up the huge mess that the kids continuously make. Well this is my life anyway. So, with it being December 27 you can all guess what I will be doing today. Yup, cleaning up mess after mess after mess.
After becoming an adult and having children of my own, I now get the privilege of cleaning instead of playing. Oh, to be a kid again! Just for one day and you can all guess what that one day would be. lol But, it was and is all worth it to see the excitement on the kids faces, to watch them play with all their new toys that they got, and the best part is they haven’t fought at all for the past three days.
So, I guess the mess IS really worth it all!

My father-in-law just bought himself an amazing Christmas present. He bought himself a new plasma TV. Now he needs to get some TV accessories for his purchase. He is looking at purchasing a plasma lift for his TV. It’s funny how when you make a purchase such as this one, you always end up wanting to buy more items to go with it. So not only do you incur the actual expense of the product, but you also incur other expenses that end up going along with it. Oh well, it’s Christmas. So I told him to have fun shopping!!

Today the children and I are going to create a gingerbread house. They have been looking forward to this day since the day that we purchased the kit. But knowing my two kids, I am going to have to have a lot of wipes on hand to clean up the never ending mess. I honestly believe that one of the reasons why they enjoy doing stuff like this is because of the mess. You would think that having a 9 and 7 year old in the house that I would have been able to stop buying these wipes, but unfortunately this is not the case.
