It’s been a week since my daughter was diagnosed with phenomia. Well it doesn’t seem like she is getting better and she is still not in school. So, I have made her a doctor’s appointment and she will be going to see him at 6:30 tonight. Hopefully he will be able to tell me what is going on her and how we can get her better again. On another note, since we are headed in that direction anyway, I have made an appointment for myself as well. For the past week, I have barely had a voice, sore throat and have been running a fever on and off. So, I figured since we will be in the building anyway, why not have him take a look at me as well and hopefully soon I will be feeling better as well. I’ll be sure to pop by tomorrow to let you all know how her and I both make out tonight.

This past weekend we had every intention of taking the kids to see the Santa Clause parade. But, it didn’t quite work out that way. Saturday turned out to be a very cold and windy day and we decided that it was just too cold and windy for our daughter to be standing outside for an hour and a half. She is just getting over phenomena and we didn’t want to see her have a relapse. So instead we took the kids to the movies. They finally got to see “The B Movie”. My son was OK with this turn of events, but my daughter took some convincing. When she finally realized that it would be better for her health to go to the movies instead of standing in the cold, she was OK with the situation. There is another Santa Clause parade in December in the town that my husband’s father lives in, and if the kids are feeling good, we will take them to that. But, we are not telling them any of this just in case.

No not really. lol But, if there was a way that I could bottle up my youngest son’s energy and sell it, I would be rich!! I have never met a child (ever) in my lifetime that has as much energy as he has. He is constantly on the go and I am constantly having to speak to him to slow things down, take a breath and relax a bit. I honestly don’t know how he does so well in school as far as sitting still and listening because at home, he just can’t seem to take it easy. So, this is why if there was anyway possible to bottle energy and sell it, I would be a very rich mamma. And, don’t worry if I were to bottle his energy, he would still have plenty left over for himself. He tires me out just looking at him.

Well the kids are happy today. It is going to be a very quiet day at my house today. The reason for this is because I can’t talk. No seriously I can’t. I have laryngitis. So, if I can’t talk then I can’t yell either. So this is why they will be happy. They can pretty much do anything they want to do and all I can do is whisper at them. How much fun is that?? But, I am happy to say that my voice has nothing to do with my blogging or crafts so I will still be around and keep busy. Thankfully it’s my voice that’s gone and nothing to do with my hands! I would be so….lost!

My youngest niece is participating in her first communion. So, I was quite happy to see that my sister-in-law has been mailing out her first communion invitations. This is a very huge deal for my niece and I’m really hoping that all the family members that received this invitation in the mail will attend. But, with my family you never know. At least, though, my entire family will be there to support her as I think this is a pretty big step for anyone to make and they deserve all the encouragement and support that they can get.

I have to say that my daughter is extremely lucky to have the younger brother that she has. Today she is home sick from school again. Today is the book fair at our children’s school and for this reason, she really wanted to go to school today. But, she just couldn’t make it. So, her brother offered to take her money to school and buy her some grade 4 books. A lot of kids would not think of this and would say sorry about your luck to their sibling. But, thankfully my youngest son is not like this. If he gets stuff, then he wants his sister to get stuff too. So, he went off to school today with his money and hers and when he gets home from school today she will have a couple of new books thanks to her little brother.

Yesterday was report card day for the two younger kids. First of all I would like to say that both kids are doing an awesome job!! I was very pleased with their report cards and by reading them apparently the teacher’s are as well. The only bad thing that both kids had on their report cards is that both of them are a little too social. The thing was I wasn’t really surprised to read this in their report cards, I was just surprised that it took this long for the teachers to mention it. So, I did talk to them about when and where they should both be social. But, accept for this little minor problem, I have no worries that the kids are going to have another awesome year!

Well it’s been a week now since Google did it’s latest dance and smacked all my sites down to a pr of 0. I haven’t said too much about this whole ordeal as of yet, but after thinking about it I have made a decision on what I am going to do about this latest turn of events. My decision is that I am going to do absolutely nothing different than I currently do! Up until this latest update, two of my sites sat at a pr3 and I honestly can’t believe that they dropped to a 0 over night. So, to my line of thinking I am doing nothing wrong. Yes, I do some paid blogging and losing page rank will limit my income to some level. But, honestly it’s not the end of the world. They way I look at it is that Internet income is a fickle thing. And, if I don’t earn Internet income for a while, I will survive! I have before I discovered there was ever such a thing as paid blogging. So, while others are completely freaking out of the latest Google activities, I seriously am not. As life will go on and I will be OK.
