Thinking Outloud

October 31 is one of my kids favorite time of the year.  Not only do they get to dress up and go outdoors after it’s dark, but they also get to end up with tons of candy in the process.  For the past month now they have been counting down the days and now finally that day has arrived.  So, we have been doing homework, will soon have supper and then it will be time to head to the great outdoors.  Later on tonight I will have “spiderman” and a “princess” leaving my house, but I am sure that I will have a tired spiderman and tired princess arrive back at the door a little later.

So…I would like to wish you all a very happy Halloween.  Stay safe, have fun and don’t eat too many treats.  lol

One of the best things about giving a watch to someone as a gift is the fact that the purchaser has so many options of watches to choose from. There are a lot of makes and models such as Rolodex, Quartz, Timex and Vacheron Constantin. Because there are so many different manufactures of watches to choose from, what manufacturer to choose from or different options on watches, the possibilities are endless. In the spring my husband’s father plans on selling his four bedroom house and looking at condos for sale. Where it’s only him now, a four bedroom house is really too big for just one person and because he is getting older, the upkeep on the house is also getting to be too much for him. So to make things easier on him he will be looking at purchasing a condo. We have already found him a couple of nice ones that would suit his needs but he wants to wait until the spring to sell his home as in the spring the housing market should pick up. So, in the spring he will be moving and I know this move will be a good thing for him.

It’s been two weeks now since the kid’s cat ran away so I really don’t think that he is going to come back. So today my husband took away the litter box and his dishes. We have promised the kids that in the spring we will get them a dog. So instead of buying cat supplies we will be needing to buy some dog supplies. Of course if the cat comes back we will keep him as well but at this stage in the game, I can’t honestly see him arriving on the door step any time soon. But, stranger things have happened so I guess we will have to wait and see.

As most of you are aware, over the past couple of months I have been trying to get my home crafting business up and running. Everyday I get more and more accomplished and I am extremely proud of myself. I know it is a little slow going, but in the end I really believe that it will all be worth it. I have had quite a few people asking me for pictures of some of the things I have been making and I am now finally prepared to give you all a sneak peak. The picture below is of a quilt that I have just recently started that I will eventually be selling on my newest craft blog and website (that’s another post another day. LOL) This picture shows you all the basic pattern of the quilt and when it is finally completed and up for sale, I will post this and let you all know when and where. I hope you enjoy looking at my latest creation.

No seriously folks.  I am the most technology challenged person that I know.  For the past couple of months I have gone without my digital camera because I could not find the battery charger for the rechargeable batteries that came with the camera.  Well last night I mentioned the camera to my husband again and asked him if he had any idea where this stupid battery charger was.  He has no idea where it went, but he did ask me why I didn’t just put regular batteries in it??  Well, I didn’t know you could.  LOL  No…seriously I thought you had to have the rechargeable batteries in it or it wouldn’t work.  Stupid huh?!  So, today I am going to the store and buy some regular batteries for my camera so I will be able to take pictures again.  I warned you all.  Seriously techno challenged!!

My husband is a serious romantic at heart! He really is. So yesterday he was asking me what I would like for Christmas and when I started listing items that I would like to put on my wish list, he was shaking his head no. I guess these gifts were not romantic enough for him. So, I gave him a site that I recently discovered where he could purchase me one of many romantic christmas gifts. He was quite happy when he was browsing the site but he wouldn’t tell me of any of the products that he had in mind to give me this year. So, I guess I’ll have to wait until December to see where his romantic heart has lead him.

My car broke and I really need it to be able to run the kids around to all their activities that they are involved in. So, I may have to get a cash advance to get it up and running again. I have no choice as I really need the car for my day to day activities. You really don’t realize how much you depend on your vehicle until you are unable to drive it. But, thankfully their are places available where I can get some emergency cash if I need to. Hopefully the repairs don’t cost too much and my car will be up and running soon. My husband will look at it tonight to decide if I need to get a cash advance to be able to get it fixed right away.

Well it’s been two weeks now since the kids cat ran away.  In the past when he ran away, he always came back in less than a week.  So, I honestly don’t think he will be back this time.  Actually the kids are not really upset about this.  Every once in a while they will mention “cat” but they didn’t experience the sadness that they have in the past.  Yesterday my youngest son asked me how many days it was since the cat ran away and when I told him almost two weeks all he said was that he didn’t think that cat would be back this time.  But thankfully no tears this time.  I know that they are sad about this, but I think they also realize that this is something can’t be helped.  Hopefully somebody found him and he is still living in comfort.  That thought is the only way that makes his running away bearable for the kids.
