The social butterfly

The social butterfly is what I affectionately call my daughter. All her life, she has enjoyed interacting with people and getting involved in different activities. Well this year is no different and she has so much on her plate that she has enrolled in and other things that she wants to enroll in, that I am constantly wondering how she is going to fit homework in her busy schedule. So far this year she has signed up for drama club, running club, track and field, choir, and violin. Today she will be trying out for honor choir and she has been bugging me to enroll her in piano lessons. I always knew that she would be the type to try to get involved with everything, but this year I think she has gone a little overboard. Oh well, your only 9 once right??

I needed acrylic paint so that it would be water proof. I was going to paint Aurora’s old toy box for Aidan so I just bought a big thing of paint at the hardware store instead of the small ones at the craft store. John doesn’t want Aidan to have a pink toy box, so I have to paint it. LOL

That’s a lot to keep up with! This is one way she can test her limits and learn where here talents lie, though. Some things may fall by the wayside as time goes by and she learns they aren’t up her alley. In the meantime, Mom has a hectic schedule, too! lol
