Twenty three days more to go!  Don’t know what I’m talking about?  If your a parent I bet you can guess.  That’s right, only twenty three days until the first day of school.  LOL  Actually it’s my daughter counting down the days, not me.  I think she is getting a little anxious to wear her new clothes, see all her friends and to go into a new grade.  This year she will be going into grade 4 and has been looking forward to this since the end of school last year.  She already has plans on which activities she would like to be a part of.  So, I think this is why the big countdown is on.

Don’t get me wrong, having two kids home all summer and them fighting quite a bit because they are so close in age and they get bored easily, I’m also counting down the days as well.  LOL  I’m just not as vocal about it as she is.  My youngest son who is going into grade 2 really couldn’t care less.

How many times in the run of one’s life do we sit back and take stalk of our lives? Sometimes we are quite happy with our reflections but other times not so much and would like to make some changes. After dropping into the Compassionate Council blog it really got me to thinking about self reflection and on possible ways that I could improve my life and myself.

I have to tell you guys that one of the things I like best about being a blogger is the many different communities that are available for bloggers to get involved with. Now that the long weekend is over and all the stores are open with everyone back to work, I have a very busy day ahead of me.  I need to go to the bank, the grocery store, get the kids hair cut and go to the post office.  I like to try to do everything I need to do in one day.  This way only one day gets tied up with all my running around and the rest of the week I can devote to housework and working on my computer.  The only part of my day that I dread is getting groceries.  I hate grocery shopping with a passion, and if we didn’t have to eat, that would be one stop I would gladly skip.  But, I always give myself a little treat after all my running around.  Tim Horton’s coffee for me after my busy day.
