I fired the maid!

No, not really. LOL The maid just happens to be me. If your anything like I am then you start to get very frustrated and discourage when you have to do the same housework day in and day out. And you have to continuously pick up after EVERYBODY in the house. Sometimes I wonder if the kids and my husband think that I’m the only one who lives here. I’m certainly not the only one who makes the mess here, but I am the only one who ever seems to be the cleaning up all the messes. So, I’ve decided that one of these days (probably not today, I can’t stand the mess) I’m going to fire the maid or maybe just go on strike for a little while just so the family can see exactly what I do in the run of a day and then hopefully they will appreciate their maid just a little bit more.

You guys ever feel like this? Have you ever gone on strike or fired the maid?

I know exactly how you feel! The problem is, my husband doesn’t care about the state of the house and wouldn’t notice if I didn’t clean for a few days anyway. I guess the good part about it is that he never gets on my case about not doing housework, but still. I wish I could get more help — without having to ask all the time.
